A Collective Path Forward for Canada’s Globally Important Peatlands
Theme National and Regional Policy
The 14th IUCN UK Peatland Programme conference seeks to bring together a diverse peatland community to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and good practice, report on progress in UK peatland restoration and celebrate these precious habitats. These conferences play a key part in the IUCN UK PP's role as an umbrella organisation which advocates the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and are a widely recognised and successful platform for achieving this.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Beyond Restoration’, and will aim to explore mechanisms to secure the future of UK peatlands in the long-term.
