The global peatland community is coming together again for the annual Venice Agreement on Peatlands Online Gathering. This year’s meeting opens the path toward the 2026 encounters, where peatland custodians from around the world will co-create a shared agenda and explore new forms of eco-democracy grounded in peatland realities.

✨ What is the Venice Agreement?
A living, collaborative tool for transdisciplinary peatland conservation. Co-created by artists, scientists, Indigenous leaders, policymakers, and land stewards, the Venice Agreement brings diverse knowledge together to support local action with global impact.
