A year ago, celebrating World Peatlands Day, 118 people from 20 countries gathered together to sign a historic agreement to protect global peatlands, collectively shaping the Venice Agreement. This interdisciplinary effort seeks to change the conservation trajectory of these vital ecosystems, recognizing the incredible power of both local and global efforts as well as the hyper-specific needs that arise from this work in all the geographies in which it unfolds. We agree to care for global peatlands globally and locally. Do you?
